An evening of Polish and Canadian music in support of Aux trois sentiers, where music serves humanity.
An evening of Polish and Canadian music in support of Aux trois sentiers, where music is placed at the service of humanity. Presented by Aleamusique, the concert will bring together a string ensemble and six guest soloists in a program ranging from classical to folk. As production costs are fully covered by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, the Korwin-Szymanowski Family Foundation, and the Jane Skoryna Foundation, all donations collected will be given directly to the organization. The concert marks 111 years of the presence of Polish Franciscan Friars in Montreal, as well as the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis of Assisi, an emblematic figure of simplicity, compassion, and care for the most vulnerable. At the heart of the program is Laudes by Norbert Palej, alongside works by Chopin, Moniuszko, Górecki, Szymanowski, Wieniawski, Cohen, and Basia Bulat. Aux trois sentiers is an organization that provides specialized end-of-life care at home, as well as essential support for caregivers.
